sri aswaklanta temple hindu temple road trip ntorq आज हमारी यात्रा गुवाहाटी से अश्वकलंता मंदिर हिंदू मंदिर तक थी जो गुवाहाटी से 24 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित है। इस मंदिर का इतिहास बहुत पुराना है, इस मंदिर की स्थापना असम के राजा शिव सिंह जी ने की थी 1720 में | 1897 में असम में भूकंप आया था उस भूकंप के कारन ये मंदिर क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया था लेकिन 1901 में असम के तत्कालीन वायसराय लॉर्ड कर्जन ने अपनी देख रेख में इसकी मरम्मत करवाई थी। पौराणिक कथाओं के अनुसार, जब भगवान कृष्ण नरकासुर की खोज कर रहे थे, तो उनका घोड़ा यहां थका गया था, जहां पर अभी अश्वकलांता मंदिर हैऔर श्री कृष्ण जी ने घोड़े को विश्राम करवाया था इसी जगह पर | असमिया भाषा में असवा का अर्थ होता है 'घोड़ा' और क्लांटा का अर्थ होता है 'थका हुआ'। इसलिए, इस स्थान का नाम अश्व-क्लांटा पड़ा। मंदिर में दो छवियां हैं, एक भगवान जनार्दन की और दूसरी भगवान अनंतसाई विष्णु की। अनंतसाई विष्णु की छवि 11वीं शताब्दी की एक उत्कृष्ट कला नमूना है। मंदिर पर सुंदर पत्थर के शिलालेख हैं। यहां मनाए जाने वाले प्रमुख त्यौहार जन्माष्टमी और अशोकाष्टमी हैं जो बहुत धूमधाम से मनाये जाते हैं। इस त्योहार के दौरान, बड़ी संख्या में भक्त मंदिर में आकर पारंपरिक अनुष्ठानों और पूजा समारोहों करते हैं, यहाँ पर हर वर्ष आयोजित किए जाते हैं। अश्वकलांता मंदिर ब्रम्पुत्र नदी और सड़क परिवहन दोनों द्वारा गुवाहाटी से जुड़ा हुआ है। गुवाहाटी से ब्रह्मपुत्र को पार करने के लिए गुवाहाटी के विभिन्न घाटों से कई नौका सेवाएं उपलब्ध हैं। आप रोड से भी आ सकते | Today our journey was from Guwahati to Ashwakalanta Mandir Hindu Mandir which is located at a distance of 24 kms from Guwahati. The major festivals celebrated here are Janmashtami and Ashokashtami which are celebrated with great pomp. During this festival, a large number of devotees come to the temple to perform traditional rituals and puja ceremonies, which are held every year. Ashwakalanta Temple is connected to Guwahati by both the Bramputra River and road transport. Several ferry services are available from different ghats of Guwahati to cross the Brahmaputra from Guwahati.
