The plot revolves around a hockey player with a cold heart named Derek Thompson. He does not exhibit respectful behavior toward those with elders or show kindness toward younger people. When he played ice hockey, one of his favorite things to do was to break the teeth of the opponent he was competing against. Similarly, one day he steals money from the pillow of his best friend's daughter which his mother had kept for her daughter. Her daughter's tooth had fallen out on the previous day, and she had the idea that the tooth fairy would give her money in exchange for her broken tooth. In a similar manner, Derek had dashed the dreams of a great number of children. When the people who live in the fairy kingdom find out about this, they decide that the best way to punish Derek is to turn him into a fairy for a week. Now, his wings also come out and he becomes a real-life tooth fairy. He, along with the other residents of the fairy world, is ordered to gather the teeth of all the kids.
