Things are no longer the same. Livik has been bombed, the volcano has erupted, and it’s a brave new world. Jump in for your share of surprises, as you use ziplines across the map, take on your enemies in a completely changed Livik map! All that and more coming in 1.8.0. With this update, ranked matching and unranked matching are separated. You can choose whether you’ll play a move that could affect the season tier point or not.

Introducing Santorini. We know you’ve all waited for this and, you are going to love the experience of 8X8 Team Deathmatch for the first time. 16 players fighting it out for supremacy, in the pristine white magical town of Santorini. Life can’t just get any better, can it?

Except, it can. We are also introducing a brand-new collaboration with Jujutsu Kaisen. Four main characters of Jujutsu Kaisen can be seen in Erangel now. Find the locked treasure boxes, collect rare ingredients and exchange for rewards and special achievements. What's more, you can now summon the Monster BOSS using an item. If you can defeat it, you get rare rewards. So, gather your squad now!

As always, your feedback is core to how we make changes to game balance. And, we have delivered on that. You can now swim when knocked out, albeit a little slower. Enemies taking a hit from you, or your squad will automatically be marked now.

Critical changes to classic mode will take place including the all new game mechanic of supply stores which will appear throughout the map and you can exchange the coins that you loot with supply items from the stores. In fact, there are also revive stations strewn around in all theme modes which allow you to invoke back defeated teammates after they have been taken out.
So, get ready to jump in with your friends.
