Falling asleep is common beacause you get the benefits of the unconscious mind absorbing during the practice. Make it a daily bedtime routine and then to go sleep. It brings deep rest and relaxation. you scan the body and breathe inviting more awareness which makes you nervous system calm. It decreases your stress and you become healthy. During yoga nidra you are able to experience an emotion and come “face to face” with what you want to overcome. It offers a space to explore what you need in the moment, as well as an opportunity to work on releasing long-held emotions. Practiced with consistency and awareness, you may likely discover that you can find a good amount of peace in a short period of time. Yoga brings deep rest to the body and mind.
